The Tao of Thao
*Head nodding…
Be still, be still or people will look…
(Please look away… there’s nothing to see)
Pa pa pa pa pa pa…
I’ll make it easy easy…
Oh man this is not going to be easy…
Pa pa pa pa pa pa…
Thao With The Get Down Stay Down
What down stay down and Thao?
My my… how am I gonna remember you with a name like that?
Fortunately, your songs are so catchy and memorable and I’ll remember you as Thao like Tao.

Hello and a warm welcome to my humble abode, JMG. Have been wanting to write a music blog for the longest time and it has now finally come into realization.
“Music is what feelings sound like”, a quote by an unknown author, is the perfect sentence to describe what music means to me.
My genuine appreciation for music started when I was exposed to the evergreen classics of “Sound of Music”. Who can withstand the mesmerizing vocal of Julie Andrews and the wonderfully composed songs for the movie; there’s not a single person I know who hasn’t not heard/watch it.
From one genre to another, my craving for this man made wonder grew steadfastly day after day. Lacked the talent of a musician and the voice of a singer, all I can do is to study it and immerse myself in its magic. But there’s one genre of music which I still couldn’t embrace is Heavy Metal. The unfathomable harmonizing of screaming vocal and edgy electric guitar, which grip the attention of many Heavy Metal fans, fail to stir the same emotion and interest in me.
Enough said about me, let’s go to the music.
Princeton, an indie rock band from Santa Monica, is the highlight for this week. Love the oldies pop sound. Nostalgic :)
Tracks to watchout :
1) Andy & Sadie
2) Show Some Love, When Your Man Gets Home
3) Calypso Gold
